A visit to John Boyd's grave site in Arlington National Cemetary seemed like a good way to start my road-trip. I wrote about Boyd and his contributions to decision-making in an issue of Be Slightly Evil.
I just finished Coram's Boyd bio, by your recommendation. Wow, what an amazing character (who I had never heard of before reading your stuff). I wonder how much more he could have gotten done if he could have Won Friends in addition to just being brilliant and obsessive! Thanks! (And have a good trip!)

Yup he was definitely a character. It was interesting contemplating his life by his gravesite. Odd sense of perspective.
